About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live creatively - that's the goal

ABOUT ME

hmmm. where to begin?
I dream of vagabonding around the world, but life got in the way. So for now, I try to get away now and then - I love meeting creative people and being inspired with new ideas and places.
and try my website if you care to know more:
www.etstudio.net

We eat a paleo diet, (I have mulitple allergies and health issues). I grow lots of herbs and flowers in our gardens which I love to show to visitors. I also make soap, art, and drum beaters, all of which are here for you to try, and maybe buy! I also have a BnB room I rent out.

PHILOSOPHY

"And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
~Anais Nin

Music, Movies, and Books

yes, yes, and yes.
All time fav: Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials.
Movies: lots! You can watch some of them with us if you surf here.
Another great book I love: "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss.
Music: John Mayer, Lee Morgan, Jonatha Brooke, Jazz and Blues, and moving around to Gabrielle Roth sounds.

I try to live in a story-telling consciousness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not eat for five days.
wOw.
I also loved driving the ring road in Iceland, wandering a bit in Norway, and my favorite spot in the world is Aix-en-Provence. One day I vow to live there again.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Meanwhile, let us have a sip of tea. The afternoon glow is brightening the bamboos, the fountains are bubbling with delight, the soughing of the pines is heard in our kettle. Let us dream of evanescence, and linger in the beautiful foolishness of things." ~Okakura Kakuzo
