ABOUT ME

Optimistic and adventurous girl with open attitude towards world and people. Easygoing and able to enjoy simple things that life offers. Trying to live in genuine harmony with the natural flow of things and events. Also a dreamer. But a dreamer, who is not afraid to follow challenges and attempts to change the course of life. :)

In 2013 I went to Spain to do EVS project and I decided to stay for a bit longer... and here I am still. :) Now living in Barcelona.

I like listening to stories and chat about everything or anything over a glass of wine or just a cup of delicious and preferably Italian coffee. ;)

Definitely a cat-person, independent, having my own ideas for life. ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up till now I have been travelling quite a lot and staying in a few people houses, I hope also in some hearts of people I have visited. It has always been an enriching experience for me and I am looking forward to discover more!

Still I haven´t had the chance to host anybody yet. But I hope soon it will change. :)

In my hometown Bielsko, I have participated in a few CS meetings where I met friends and people who inspire me.

Stories that you can hear from travellers, but also stories from everyday life.
Hitchhiking, hiking in the mountains, swimming, biking, cooking.
Recently also painting and drawing is what makes me disappear from regular life for hours :P

Music, music, and once agian music. Life without it wouldn't be the same. I enjoy it both, at home or at the live concerts. :) Manic Street Preachers, Placebo, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Depeche Mode, Reamonn, Duffy, Stereophonics, R.E.M., Elton John, Muse, Blur, Alanis Morissete, Oedipus, MESH, Skunk Anansie, Pink Floyd or Shakira singing in Spanish ;)

Books: Siddhartha, Tolkien's, Lewis's, Morrell's, Pratchett's, Schmidt's, Lackberg's, travelling stories and many more.

Movies I don't watch too often. However some inspiring films for me are: Gattaca, Into the Wild, Before the Sunset, Untraceable, Closer, La Vita e Bella, Once, Hunger Games. I also love Gone With the Wind, French Lieutenant's Woman, The Great Gatsby.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Being an EVS volunteer!!! :D
Being an European Volunteer in Catalunya literary have changed my life. Also it was one of the best project I have participated in and trully recommend to all. :)

Working as a leader of international workcamp for young people from around the world. Living and working with them for two incredible weeks in the sheer middle of nowhere. :D

Four years ago I went for a amazing trip around European countries, "Eurotrip" as we call it. :) Two friends of mine and me were travelling by car for two weeks (short time, but possible). During that trip I had also the chance to meet other couchsurfers for the first time. Truly, it was an amazing experience.

Hitch-hiking around Poland and nearby countries with friends or alone. It gives me the feeling of freedom and joy :) You never know what kind of people you're going to meet, what life stories are you going to hear - that's the beauty of it. :)

Worked as an au-pair in London, England for half a year. Was looking after four boys, ah those were the times .. :)

Been to Greece for two months working holiday, did not earn much but the time spent there was great :)
