Hello, I’m Arul from Chennai, a coastal town in the south of India. It's known for its food, temples and beaches. I studied electronics and communications, worked as a software engineer before finally moving to Barcelona to do my masters in particle physics and astrophysics. I'm now a PhD student in Germany looking for signs of new physics.

When the weather's nice and sunny, I like to go on hikes, camping, bike rides, runs, play team sports or swim. I like walking in general, either alone or with some good company. I love playing games in groups. Sitting down with a cup of hot beverage and talking about literally anything is one my favourite things to do.
