About Me

Hey folks! I'm currently a Master's student studying at Delft University of Technology and have been in the Netherlands for the past one and a half years. I grew up and did my initial schooling in Oman, after which I moved to Bangalore. I arrived in the Netherlands after finishing my bachelors and a year of working. Having lived in three different cultures, I have been fortunate enough to meet a wide variety of people and learn a lot from them and their experiences.

I got to know about couchsurfer through friends who have had lot of good stories to tell about their experiences. As someone who possesses a strong wanderlust and keen interest in meeting varied types of people, I decided to check out couchsurfer so as to meet new people and hopefully encounter interesting hosts while travelling in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to consider myself as a citizen of this world, which is why I feel couchsurfing is such a great platform for global social networking. Nothing excites me more than the prospect of exploring new places and meeting people from different places, because each time you learn something different from them about their home country, places they've been, experiences they've had and such encounters leave lasting memories. I'm particularly interested in how different people view life and the things they do which believe will put them on the path to freedom and happiness.

Apart from meeting people, I am also looking to host people in the near future. I also intend to visit as many countries as possible through couchsurfer to explore, discover the culture of people in different places and make meaningful connections with them. For now, if you're looking for a last resort place to crash, don't have any better place stay at or don't wanna spend money on lodging for a day or two, my doors are always open to students and travelers to Den Haag/Rotterdam, who are looking for a chill place to crash and a host to help them out and have a good experience in the Netherlands.

Teach, Learn, Share

In this world, travelling and exploring is the closest we can come to time travel. During each trip it feels as though time itself has slowed down and you discover so much about this world and about yourself in such a short duration. According to me, travelling is as empowering as education in a person's life.
