ABOUT ME

People who meet me usually describe me as someone who is "up for anything". And I think that's quite accurate. There are very few things that am not curious about; new experiences excite me and I'd usually try anything twice before I decide about them.

My friends also complain that I have too much energy ;) That helps me in my pursuit of constant novel experiences. As much as I love the wild outdoors and nature (Especially all water bodies) am most fascinated by humans - and constantly wonder how adaptable and resilient we are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I fell in love with couchsurfing on a cross country (US) road trip. Enthralled by how strangers opened their houses and hearts, I wanted to give back to the community.

Now, I host a lot (whenever I am not traveling); participate in couch crashes; Help organize couch crashes & other CS events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a decent bit across US. Hosted frequently in Pittsburgh and a bit here in Boston. Also, I love the company of couchsurfers and the adventures and/or stories they come up with.

Helped organize Pittsburgh Couch crashes '09, '10. Participated in couch crashes in Detroit, Washington DC, New York & Burning Kouch '11.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sliding down on my bum for kilometers on the snow in the himalayas; rushing to camp in knee deep snow in the middle of a hailstorm, with nightfall approaching.

Watching the Milky way in the deserts of Utah.

Watching a meteor break apart and burn like a firework in front of us, while kayaking the Atlantic Ocean on a full moon night.
