About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take in the world one story at a time

ABOUT ME

I am a recent postgrad with an incurable case of ants-in-my-pants. I utterly enjoy running into people and their endless stories. I laugh loudly, talk a lot and all too fast, argue passionately, and am very prone to bursts of excitement. I am most moved by colours, and words, and images. I read, I write, I photograph, I soak.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be fiercely honest to myself and the virtues I hold dear, and the rest just sort of falls into place around it.

At the core of everything I do is a fierce determination to be happy. And most of the times things work out pretty well :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Completely new to couchsurfing, but have been hearing all sorts of wonderful things about it, so can't wait to get this started!

Interests

People - people who are honest, quirky, alive
Reading - books that feel like a lost soul-twin from a parallel universe, that articulate everything I have been meaning to say, that make me jealous of the writer, that make me want to be best friends with the writer
Photographing - images that add to a story, that make sense in a context, that can act as a time capsule for when I want to return to a place and its memories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently swam in a bioluminescent pool of water in Thailand. It was raining, pitch dark, and we were in the middle of the sea. And little flickers of light traced every movement of every part of my body. It was the most exquisitely beautiful thing I have ever experienced.
