I am not the most talkative person you will come across and though I am not very good at starting conversations, I am fairly good at continuing once it has started. I like good company, sumptuous food, and the people who are warm hearted and don't pretend to be someone they are not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch-surfing from a friend and am absolutely new to it. I haven't really traveled out of the country, but i have visited many of the cities in India. So I guess this will be nice way to get to meet people from diverse cultures and learn something from them, maybe teach them something in the process..:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: country folk ans pop most of the time, but when in the mood for it really like classical and sometimes old movie songs!

Movies: I am a cine-buff. Love going to theaters. Mostly i watch English & Hindi movies, but occasionally I watch French films with subtitles.

Book: My first love! I read every kind of book that I can get my hands on. Every culture, social, historical background attracts me when it is written well.

Paragliding! That was crazy fun!!!

I went Deep Sea Diving in Andaman Islands...:)

During an IPL (cricket) match -where I was working with an event management firm-I had the chance to meet Shah Rukh Khan! It is pretty amazing by my count.

I would really enjoy learning some recipes of food from a different part of the world.
If the guests are into it I can show them some of our indigenous cooking styles.
