ABOUT ME

This world is a beautiful, wild, pungent place full of mystery, and I am having a blast discovering it. My time in Alaska is deeply seasonal and it feels good to get out frequently. I love the North-especially the unique community that finds itself here under the dancing aurora-but ultimately my life will be based somewhere that I can grow food all year round. I live the good life, eating local food, having adventures with good friends, and traipsing through the forest with my huskies. WIthout fresh air, good friends, and beautiful vistas, what else is there? I am trained as a midwife and am dedicated to the perpetuation of natural cycles. And I love riding my bicycle.

I am brand new to couchsurfing. It seems like a safer option than my usual lackadaisical hitchhiking style, and I am stoked about meeting new friends and hosting at my super sweet cabin.
