Overview
About Me
Hi, I‘m Arvid from Hamburg, Germany. I‘d describe myself as a calm yet funny and courteous person.
I‘m working as a Head of Category Management near Hamburg. In my free time I like to enjoy my life, laugh and have a good time. I achieve that by riding my Vespa, doing CrossFit, meeting friends or baking bread.
Since April‘19 I‘m living in my flat in Hamburg-Dulsberg. In my opinion it is perfectly located to explore the city and relax in the evening.
With friends I like to enjoy a beer, wine, good food (either self cooked or in a restaurant) and good talks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my friends told many interesting stories about people they met through couchsurfing. That awoke my curiosity.
I want to get to know new cultures and people - either by hosting or by being your guest. Hosting and helping travelers from around the world makes me happy. In Iran my friend and I had a great time with different couchsurfers and we like to catch more of those moments.

Music, Movies, and Books
I‘m not that much into movies, but music and podcasts are a big thing for me. My most favorite genres go from techno to rock to singer/songwriter to alternative.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing my most favorite DJs live on many festivals, kayaking and snorkeling on Sardenga...
Teach, Learn, Share
Together we could bake bread - I‘d like to share it with you and am really passionate about baking sourdough bread.
I‘m passionate about what your knowledge is about and what you can share with me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I‘d like to cook for or with you and enjoy a good time with you.
Nevertheless I want to state and make clear (even though it should be obvious) that I respect the house rules and clean up after myself!
