ABOUT ME

I believe in keeping an open mind, travelling a lot, meeting all different kinds of people and experiencing as much of the world as I can. I am a chilled out guy, but when it comes to travelling, snowboarding and partying I have a lot of energy! Right now I'm learning about the world, experiencing all I can, finding my passions, opening my mind. The next stage of life I plan to be teaching what I know, sharing my experiences and passions and opening the minds of others. Obviously there's no clear line in the sand between stages of life, but this is how I feel about life right now.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in doing what makes me happy and also want to make a positive mark in our world and these two things are definitely not mutually exclusive!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed with three hosts now and they've all been awesome experiences. I look forward to my next adventure and it will definitely involve couch surfing! I haven't hosted yet, but I look forward to showing people around my little corner of the world where ever that next may be.

Interests

Right now I am pursuing my passion of skiing and snowboarding. I lived in Canada for two and a half years for this and have just spent a season in Val Thorens, within the French alps.

I love music. I have pretty eclectic tastes, but most of all I love listening to new artists and falling in love with a song. Lately, I've really got into electronic music and love going to festivals in the summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunshine Village, Banff, Canada on the day of Slush Cup, their last day of the season (the 20th of May - WTF almost summer!). So much fun skiing, drinking and watching the brave attempt to ride across a 20m long pool of icy cold water. One of many stand out days since living in Canada!

My first North American road trip! Three of us sleeping in the back of my car in the middle of Portland, cliff diving in Crater Lake, fishing, chilling and partying in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, living like a rock star in Vegas, crossing to the east coast with 2 ride shares, their puppy and a really smelly hitch hiker, BBQ, dueling pianos and fried chicken in Nashville, white water rafting in Charlotte, NC, ghost touring in Philly, comedy clubbing in NYC, halloweening in Montreal and deep dishing in Chicago!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to snowboard and ski.

I'd like to learn more about cooking. I am a decent cook, but never seem to have the effort/time to pursue this interest (not a very good excuse I know).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to share music with friends. Discovering a great new song or artist is an awesome feeling and vice versa, I love to see their eyes light up when when I play them a new song they love.
