About Me
Hi I'm Arnold ! I grew up in Philippines and currently staying at Liliw, Laguna.
I took up BS - Information Technology and finished Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence at Mapua Institute of Technology.
I like playing softball and soccer and I'm interested in studying other language :) !
So far I've visited USA and Osaka, JP. Next target is Tokyo and I'm very much interested in learning other cultures, specially from Asian countries food and entertainment are all welcomed !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This works well with my intention to learn other cultures and getting to know other people as compared to staying at Airbnb/Hotels. Not to mention that it gives me first hand experience on how people live on a normal setting/day-to-day setting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - As long as the lyrics are meaningful and the rhythm is good, I specially prefer old music like Perry Como, Nat King Cole, The Cascades, But I also listen to OPM and Jpop bands like Urbandub, Up Dharma Down, Mr. Children, Bump of Chicken, One Ok Rock, so on and so forth :).
Books - I love reading books that portray the everyday lives of people and their culture, such classics as Catcher in the Rye, Joy Luck Club, Maynila sa Kuko ng Liwanag, Mga ibong mandaragit, Rosales Saga (My Brother, My Executioner/The Pretenders/Mass).
Movies - I'm not much of a Movie person but the movies that made the most impact to my life is The Green Mile and Schindler's List, The Godfather and Magnifico :).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Actually found work immediately after my graduation even though my plan is to take a long break after graduating ! HAHA !
Teach, Learn, Share
My Major is Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and took up IT, but of the courses were barely applied with my current work, but I will be happy to share and learn things to/from the hosts.
I'm well versed in Tagalog and English, and has strong interest in learning Japanese, we can probably share thoughts and learn from one another.
