About Me

Belongs to the north-western part of India - Punjab. Surroundings of vast fields, rivers, canals ..and just love all these.

Camping in Himalaya is more of my second home....so glad to have it in the neighborhood.

These days, an introduction of a special type of steel in cars occupies most of my thoughts. (I work with a automobile manufacturer). All the time, from morning to late night, sometimes in dreams too, i think just of various mechanical properties's curves, grain structures etc of this steel and stubborn to make it happen. Sometimes, even with friends I pretend to be the part of conversation, just smile and nod at them, while silently thinking "Elastic strain behaviors of this material at elevated temperatures".
This introduction will make cars lighter and at the same time more safe.

Whenever, feel too tired from thinking about this steel, i practice Cyrillic alphabets and some Russian phrases for my upcoming travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - Jack London , Leo Tolstoy, David Thoreau.
Jack’s “northland” notion is simply irresistible.
“To build a fire” “The call of the wild” “white Fang” are amongst all time favourites.

I like the writing style of Jon Krakuer too..but lately, I find his commercially driven lies and exaggerations very repulsive. Nevertheless my favourite quote still credits to his pencil-
“Boyhood dreams diehard, I discovered, and good sense be damned”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled through some of the highest roads of the world, through the remotest of the Himalayan regions. I wish to penetrate far and farther deep into these valleys, which are currently believed to be the inaccessible on wheels, in the coming future.
