Overview
About Me
We are a team, best friends, a couple, happy, sporty, outdoorsy, not into drinking or drugs, probably the worst pub buddies ever, don't smoke, we work a lot, but apart from that we are quite nice (o;
We try to tread lightly, because "The universe is not all about you" (credit to Mr Booja Booja)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sadly, our time for epic travel and couch surfing adventures is a little limited these days... therefore we mostly host. (o:
We first came across couch surfing back in 2009 while we mingled with Bristol's freeconomy (also see http://www.freeskilling.org.uk/) and since then had virtually 100% positive experiences, some of them refreshingly random. For example, once we hosted 20% of the whole Portuguese Vegetarian Society... all 2 of them! :o)
Interests
Outdoor activities like hill walking, cycling, mountain biking, running, kayaking, climbing, wild swimming, surfing... Also, sports (playing not watching! :op) like swimming, running, gymming.
We love good vegan food (both cooking and eating).
We used to have an allotment back in the UK and tried to grow some of our own food. The rainbow quinoa made quite an impression with our fellow allotment folks. We also like foraging. Still need to learn loads in both categories, though...
Sustainability, organic food, permaculture, being more self-sufficient, alternative technologies and alternative ways of living...

Music, Movies, and Books
Between the two of us one would have to describe it as "quite a mix".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being surrounded by humpback whales while sea kayaking...!
Teach, Learn, Share
We can offer the company of two cute and friendly (Santiago ex-street)dogs, hikes in the cordillera, vegan meals, conversations about the life, the universe and everything. If you ask nicely and we have some time we can show you how to make tofu q-:
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can cook you a yummy vegan meal or invite you to explore one of the places on happycow.net with us (...or somewhere else where they will feed us). But if there's anything else we can help out with just let us know!
Countries I’ve Lived In
