Hello,

I’m a newbie on here... so please show the love haha

My name is Mordechai Aryeh Levin (also known as just ‘Ari’) and after just graduating my bachelors in Psychology I am pursuing my lifelong dream of travelling around the world... well a large chunk of it anyway.

My decision and reason for travelling the world stems from a plan that I made with my dear father as I was finishing high school. The original plan was for my father and I to travel the world upon completing my secondary education; however sadly it was not meant to be and heaven claimed my father’s soul too soon -after which time I was too broken to embark on this dream.

And so ... let’s fast forward to 2020 - 8 years since this trip was originally planned and I am finally ready to live my best, happiest and most phenomenal life not just for myself but for dad too.

Up until recently, I had worked as an integration aide for emotional, mentally and intellectually disabled children as well as a Hebrew tutor at one of Melbourne's best private schools. This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life as I saw these children overcome adversity in such a gracious and courageous manner. I learned to be more patient, kind, compassionate and to show a more humorous side of me, because these qualities facilitated the process of supporting these children’s educational, mental and social wellbeing .

The time when I am at my truest, however, is when I am immersed in the arts.

I am a classically trained singer and I have performed alongside very successful and highly respected musicians. I can appreciate most genres of music and love to explore the various music scenes. Being that music is at the centre of my very being It would give me much delight if my hosts were musically inclined and join me in the music that will accompany my journey as I travel the world. -check some of my stuff out on instagram @mordolicio

Furthermore, being a lover of art I like to express my artistic talents in a very intuitive and expressive style and I love to teach this style as it is very therapeutic in my eyes- without compromising on the aesthetic nature of it. This love of art extends to that of design (architecture, furniture, etc) but mostly to that of the fashion world..... I have been told that I have a good eye for style .. so if you are wanting a personal stylist... it would be my pleasure to assist you. Hehe.

As you can probably relate- both art and music have guided me through the darkest of times and thus have contributed to the solidification of my unique self. Which I am proud of and want to share.

I am a warm, respectful and at times wild individual who takes joy in learning people’s stories and engaging in deep conversation . I believe that I am somewhat of an introverted extrovert and so at times I may seem shy but that is only temporary- as I get more comfortable you will see the vibrant colors of my personality.

I do not smoke nor do I really partake in the consumption of alcohol (unless perhaps it is one glass of wine) and I love animals (Particularly dogs).

My rough itinerary at the moment consists of ;

Greece where I will be based in Athens From 10 February till 19 February

Spain from 19 February till 4 March

France from 4 March till 24 March

England from 24 March till 19 April

Italy from 19 April till 4 May

Israel from 4 May till 4 August

New York, Brazil and Colombia from 4 August till 1 December.

I hope you'll consider me as an eligible couch surfer ..because I believe I have a lot to offer and it doesn’t hurt that I am a very respectful person who is wary of personal space and privacy (and I hope the courtesy is reciprocated).

I very much hope to develop and explore new destinations with the guidance of the special individuals I hope to meet along the way.
