‘On Couchsurfing sinds sept 2018’

Hi, we're 2 happy queer girls (we refuse to use the term women, auw that sounds old!). We live in multiculturel Borgerhout in Antwerp. We are 10 mins away by the central station by bike, and the tram is right before our door (also 10 mins). Antwerp is a very cool, vibing city. But if you ask us, Borgerhout and the other districts our more fun! We will give inside tips!

What do we love: sunday mornings, strong black coffee, chilling in our chillingclothes, rainbows, techno-music, indian food, ginger tea, the smell of grass in the morning, belgium beers (La Chouffe is the BEST!), exploring new things, each other, vacation days at work, sightseeing (yes, also the touristic things), ART (but we're not the artyfarty types that can talk about it four hours, a "thats cool" is good enough for us), photography, living the life the way it comes, our plants ...

Aryana is the little neurotic one of us. She loves to clean the house, to cook, to go to the supermarket, to clean up Ellen's stuff en to make sure the house is set up just the way she likes it :) Besides all these qualities, she's the artistic one. She's a graphic designer who loves to photographe, play with photoshop en spending the evening behind the computer. She is also the sweetest person alive and will always taking care of others before herself. From the two of us, Aryana is the social one. Everywhere she goes, she's talking to the woman on the tram, the guy at the groceryshop, that little child in the park, the drunk old man at the bar, the cow in the field (really!), ...

Ellen is the lazy one. She loves to chill with some good music, a good book and a hot cup of coffee. But not always! Ellen is also the party one, who loves to dance her ass off at a dark techno party. Ellen also loves to chat about hundreds of subjects with a good glass of wine (red plz!). When we travel, Ellen is the one who plans the initiary, the accommodations, the tickets, the sightseeing, ... She has a wide spectrum of intrests going from philosophy to history to movies to literature to art etc. Ellen works at the social sector, so that implies that she can be upset by unjustice in the world. But no fear, she stand with both feets in reality.

Soooo, two for the price of one! Maybe sometimes a little bit too much to handle, but it's worth it!

We want to meet, connect en vibe with amazing people all over the world.

But somebody ones said: "true altruism does not exist", so we want to open our house if that means that we can crash sometimes somewhere else when we travel.

Музыка, кино и книги

Especially Ellen loves to read, so we have quite a big bookcase (unfortunally almost all in Dutch).
Favorite auteurs: Sylvain Tesson, Alain de Botton, Stefan Hertmans, Michel Houellebecq, Joathan Franzen, Connie Palmen, Herman De Coninck, John Williams, ... ( I can keep going if i want too :) )

Music: very wide range of music tast, going from wrong 90s music to old rock songs. But if we need to choose our favorite artists currently: Nice Cave, Portishead, Warhaus (Belgium band, so good! check it out!).
And off course our Belgium Techno proud: Charlotte De Witte!

We have a very comfy couch you can sleep on, but if you don't like to surf on a couch (what are you doing here!?), we can put up a double inflatable matras in our clothing room (2 girls remember :) ). Feel free to use our kitchen, with our without us.
Off course we have Wifi. You can also use our netflix, tv, record player, books, shower, toilet ...
We have a little balcony. So if you need a smoke, you can do this here.
We also share our 2 fitness cards, so if you want to work out on that body, you can! The gym is just around the corner.
