About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To cross every place off of my ever-growing list of places to visit

ABOUT ME

University student learning how to be a successful journalist.
In the meantime, I like traveling, photography, developing story ideas, and combining all three.
I get bored pretty quickly, so I'm always trying to have new and varying experience. I enjoy learning foreign languages, discovering new books and music, and meeting new people.
Media recommendations mean the world to me.
A cooking novice looking to get better, so feel free to teach me your Grandma's secret recipe.
I'm a family-oriented person. Passionate about the environment and animals.
I really like meeting different kinds of people, people I can learn something from.

PHILOSOPHY

Poor communication is the root of all conflict.
The barriers of language, sex, orientation, religion, and ethnicity can be broken down. It only takes compassion and understanding to find out what makes people tick. Everyone wants someone to listen to them, to try to understand them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only slept on couches, but I plan on returning the favor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Couchsurfed with a friend in Brussels, Belgium for two nights. Both hosts were incredibly gracious and pleasant. They gave us so much helpful information and insight into the culture. I prefer visiting a city and getting to know a local. I've been so impressed by the goodness in people's hearts and the quality of their spare bedrooms.
My Couchsurfing experience has restored my faith in people and I hope that doesn't change.

Interests

Really, anything could be interesting to me- it depends on presentation. If you're interested in watching snails crawl, tell me why it's so fascinating and it will probably become my next obsession.
