About Me

Hello my name is Arzu. I was born in Ghent, Belgium in the year of 1994, so that makes me today 23 years old. Since the day I was born I really wanted to be an architect. Architecture was something that got me interested. So as you know "architecture student", it has to ring a bell like ... oh she likes to TRAVEL. And yes I do. It is something where you can learn and enjoy from.

**EXTRA:
- I'm Turkish;
- I like food;
- I like to workout;
- I like to be ME.

!!! RULES !!! (because of my first visitors were kinda horrible couchsurfers):
- You can not shower more than 2 times a day (got sick and tired 4 days long, by people showering 4 times a day (for 1 hour long)
- Ask if you want to borrow something of mine, and don't just take it and use it, that's very disrespectful
- I am offering you to stay for free at my place, that doesn't mean that you have to stay 24/24h at my place for 3-4 days long. You are travelling because you want to explore new places/cities, not because my place is a hostel or a rest-place. I felt used by my first couchsurfers.
- I'm letting you sleep on 2 expensive airbeds, so treat them in a respectful way, and don't jump on it or walk on it.
- if you break something, you'll pay for it.

My second couchsurfers, were the happiest persons ever. They didn't use my place only for resting. And didn't stay 24/24 hours at my place. They didn't shower 4 times a day, and they really felt comfy with my airbeds. So I'm not a horrible person, but it's up to you, how you'll treat me. So don't let me feel used.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

2 years ago someone of my class hosted a Canadian man, and oh gosh he cooked for him etc. And this is so interesting, that u get to know new people from all over the world.
I like hanging out with new people, making new friends etc. So this is a way where I can host people, get to know them and maybe ... make new friends! Who knows? :D

I helped 3 friends of mine to find a place via Couchsurfing in Liechtenstein. They stayed there for 3-4 days. At the end they said: GOSH WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT WE DID THIS!

I also want to try it by myself... So that's why I'm on couchsurfing. I want to host people, and I want to get hosted.

In July it will be my very first time to couchsurf (and that in MALTA).

Interests

Travelling, architecture, making new friends, having fun, photography, social media, getting to know new cultures.

I also love discussing with people. (Doesn't matter about what, but it's kinda interesting).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to everything.

My favorite movies? Well I don't like horrors or thrillers. Any other movie is okay. Especially animation movies, haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*I've travelled to New York City!
*When I was on the bus on my way to Ghent, Belgium... I took the wrong bus and landed in Berlin, Germany. Gosh that was a hell of a day. I've spent 32 hours to go from Koblenz to Ghent (what's in reality 3-4 hours by car). Yes.. that's what happens when u take the wrong bus, guys. But hey I'm still alive, LOL. haha
