I'm Asaf, 27 years old, from Tel Aviv.
I've just finished my B.A studies and after 4 (very long) years since my last backpacking trip to East Asia, it's time to go back - I'm planning to travel in South Korea for two weeks 😄

I like traveling and meeting new people from different countries and cultures, and couchsurfing is a cool way to do that!

I love going out, reading (especially philosophy), playing basketball and listening to music. Actually, after 27 years on this planet I realized I have never learned to play any instrument, so I've just started playing piano (tips for beginners are always welcome!)

Rented a scooter and unexpectedly found an isolated Buddhist monastery in Myanmar, which wasn't on the map, ended up having lunch with the two old monks there and talking with them (thank you Google Translate).

I really like to learn about a new place from the people who live there, and especially in East Asia where I really enjoy the culture and the local food.
As a Tel Avivian I can give you great tips about Tel Aviv if you've ever thought of going there - all the best restaurants and bars and show you how to enjoy the city just like a local :)
(And I'm always up to a philosophical talk, already miss this part of my studies 😅)
