I'm Asaf, born in the beautiful city of Izmir but have been calling Istanbul home for the past 24 years.
It seems divorcing is my hobby :) I've had three divorces, latest one happened on July 9th. but I have two lovely daughters, aged 27 and 19, who keep me on my toes.
By day, I'm a customs broker, helping export and import companies navigate the complexities of international trade. By night, I'm a logistics coordinator for film production companies, ensuring that movie magic happens in Turkey.

I joined Couchsurfing because I'm a travel enthusiast at heart. I've realized that the best part of traveling isn't just about seeing new places; it's about the people you meet, the cultures you experience, and the hidden gems you discover. I'm all about cultural exchange and making new friends.

My favorite movies include Fugitive, Argo, Skyfall, Thinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Inferno, Charlie's Angels, Taken, Ataturk, and Operation Fortune. I enjoy reading Inferno, Dameons and Angels, The Apprentice, Gravity, and Harvest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Despite my fear of heights, I took the leap (literally!) and flew in a hot air balloon over Cappadocia. It was exhilarating and a must-do for any thrill-seeker!
