I want to spend as much time as I can outside and learning from new people. I always want to be in my stretch zone and on the edge.

ABOUT ME

I am an Outdoor Education Instructor, currently working for Mt Bachelor and REI. I enjoy all outdoor endeavors, kayaking, backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing... everything. I am in a part of my life were I am doing a lot of drifting. I hope to spend the next good while blowing with the wind around the US.

I live my life because I love nature and being outside and I want to share that love and curiosity with as many people as I can.

Interests

I am interested in almost anything. I love music, and I play the fiddle. I love to act and participate in plays and drama. I live to be outside. Most of my time is spent in the out of doors. I am interested in kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, skiing, backpacking, sailing, camping, cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love lord of the Rings. It is my favorite movie. I like any good film, something that has won a few Oscars. I listen to most any music besides country. Bluegrass is a big one for me, as is all kinds of folk and the blues.
I enjoy fiction, but also literary works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked around Central America in 2013 and 2008, and I have been to all the lower 48 states.
