Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Asal, originally from Iran and currently living in Germany. I’m curious, thoughtful, adventurous and enjoy deep conversations just as much as light, silly ones. I love slow mornings, walking in new cities, good coffee, and observing how people live in different places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is about connection, not just a place to sleep. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, sharing stories, and experiencing places through local eyes rather than as a tourist. I travel to feel free, inspired, and more human.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is eclectic — from calm indie and alternative to Persian music and anything with a good vibe. I love movies that feel real and emotional rather than loud and superficial. Books that make me think about life, habits, psychology, or personal growth always have a place on my shelf.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving alone to a new country and building a life from scratch, learning the language, adapting to a new culture, and trusting myself through uncertainty. It taught me resilience and self-confidence.
Teach, Learn, Share
can share perspectives about Iranian culture, language, and food, as well as thoughtful conversations about life, work, and finding your own path. I’m always happy to learn from others their routines, experiences, and worldviews.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect, good energy, meaningful conversations, and a calm, positive presence. I’m tidy, appreciative, and enjoy spending time together, whether that’s cooking, walking, or just talking over tea.
