About Me

Well...talking about myself has always been challenging to me.
I am 27, I am from south Brazil, I have an international business degree and I work for a multinational Indian IT services company outsourcing an American gas and oil company. I guess it goes without saying that i'm interested in languages and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Brazil may be a hard place to live in several ways, but we have something great called 30 straight days of vacation. That allows us to plan long vacation getaways while still having a regular working life.
So every year I try to plan a trip for vacation. I usually stay at hostels/motels/hostels, but I like to pick one place to stay with a local. That's when Couchsurfing comes in handy, because I can get in touch with people anywhere - All experiences I had as a traveler on Couchsurfing were amazing, I did not only find a place to crash but I also met people to hang out with, and I made real friends that I definitely hope to see again. In fact, I did keep in touch and got hosted twice with one of them.

I'm not exactly that kind of person that dreams of visiting every country in the world, I just have a set of places that I'd give away a passport full of different stamps to have unlimited flight tickets to.
I'm able to host people, but unfortunately I don't get any requests for my town. I noticed a lot of people are interested in either Porto Alegre and Gramado, so in case you're reading this and is planning on visiting these places, keep in mind that my town is 40km away from Porto Alegre towards Gramado, and we have a train station in the neighborhood that is connected to Porto Alegre airport. Hit me up and I can help you with hosting and showing around. I have more time to hang out on weekends.
