Hitchhiker to the core!Rather short@166,but certainly with no Napoleon syndrome.I have lived the classic story of volunteer and find great pleasure in not just traveling but impacting life in my own small way through traveling.Every trip is an opportunity to be a blessing to someone.
I live to develop my abilities to such a level of refinement, that I will always strive to be the maximum benefit to others.I am multiculturally-spirited and look forward to engaging people of different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To receive as many travelers as possible, and to be received.Mine is not geared towards saving money on accommodation but keeping the spirit of sharing and caring.I am striving to travel the world—however slow the process may be and however long it may take—one trip at a time!!! Joining such a great community as this provides the avenue for me to not only be connected and network with fellows of like-mindedness but also engage different cultures

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was during one of my trips where I was lodging at a hostel as a worldpacker, exchanging my skills for a free bed.I had closed the night duties after the last expected guest arrived and checked-in.The hostel door bell rang at an ungodly hour but, without hesitation, I answered, only to be told that a co-traveler got stuck on the way, unable return because of heavy drunkenness.
I quickly went down to rescue her and bring her in.I placed her on her bed.She was restless. She dropped to the ground and became uncontrollable for a long time. She screamed and shouted at the same time, intermittently vomiting and splashing it on her hair, though at each vomit I quickly wiped it from the ground.
When the screaming became too loud, I had to grab her and take her to the bathtub, only to realise she'd pooed already,as the faeces started dropping out!
I had to read extensively on the net on how to attend to a person in such a situation.
She resisted being put in the tub and dropped to the ground again, again and again.
Luckily for her,the hostel was half-full and in that particular room at that particular time, only one girl was in the room but never cared as she was carried away in what she was watching. She only turned, when the screaming became a nuisance.
I forced her into the tub and turned on the tap.She resisted vehemently but I kept the shower running until she begun to calm down.I brought her bag,so she could change her dress, locked the bathroom and left the water running. She slept in the running water for an hour before she became sober, cleaned herself, changed and went to sleep.Later in the day she sent a Thank you message I sent her a long message to advice her, especially when she goes out alone, for which she expressed her gratitude.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cultural exchange,to share our stories. For it's a joy to talk about Africa, the African way of life.Rather than hearing the African story from the rented press (which sometimes do propagandists bidding),you'll hear the story from an African.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything worth sharing. You have unlimited access to whatever is available.Do not fell compelled to replace anything that runs out, especially if you're on a budget.
