About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering self by discovering people and places

ABOUT ME

Can't really stick with routines, like to discover and try new activities and find out new perspectives. I'll probably be the most ordinary person you'll find but I can ensure you that I'm sincere and trustworthy. I enjoy conversations though ironically, I often have difficulties on phrasing words.

PHILOSOPHY

Make lifetime on earth worth every second. Make it not about destination, but about journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to CS by my friend, and got fascinated by her travel stories and the awesome times she had while couchsurfing. I find it as a really great way to learn about a destination and make a travel much more memorable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed:

25/04/2014 at Lille, France with Manon
24/04/2014 at Paris, France with Francoise
12/04/2014 at Leuven, Belgium with Kenny

Interests

I appreciate art whether it's man-made or nature's creation with all the beauty it provides for the sense to the soul.

I appreciate food and what it does to my taste buds and to my mood.

I appreciate and play music for how it helps release what's difficult to express; through rhythm, notes and composition.

I appreciate languages as a complex yet beautiful communication tool and how strong it connects to its originating culture. I love learning them, speaking them, if I can't, well.. just hearing them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many favorites that I won't be able to list it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deciding to go for a long solo journey to Europe for the first time without knowing much about backpacking, especially never went travelling alone and so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very keen on culture exchanges, willing to know how home feels like in another home.

I can teach my native language, which is Indonesian and also share about our culture and cuisine (I probably only know 5% of cooking compared to my mom, but I try). I would love being spoken to with your native language as well :)

I play violin at average and would like to know more about music.

Would like to learn and share from interactive technology/mobile/web/UX design enthusiasts.

Would like to learn and share any ideas, thoughts, travel experiences, or even just simple smiles :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand
