About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for the next great adventure, hoping for South America in summer 2014

ABOUT ME

I'm all about trying out new things! I get a little restless when i'm not out doing something. I really want to learn all I can about other people and other cultures. I'm always open to trying new things and meeting new people. I can be shy when you first meet me, but give me an hour or a drink and I become very outgoing and fun!

PHILOSOPHY

The future is no place to place your better days

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Finally moved to be a big city and am hoping to partake in CS get togethers. Also, am always happy to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never hosted but I had a great experience meeting some CSers while studying abroad in South Africa.

Interests

Well I obviously love traveling and meeting new people (otherswise I wouldn't be here =). I love camping (hoping to learn to rock climb this year), my goal is to do a new hiking trip every summer. When not traveling I love just hanging out with friends or meeting strangers at the local pub.

Music, Movies, and Books

I rarely find a movie I don't like, I think movies are a great art form and almost all of them have something interesting to say. Favorite band is Dave Matthews Band! I've been listening to them since i was 5, but i really just enjoy anything that i can loose myself in! Favorite book is "the Shadow of the Wind" but I also like anything that has a little excitement/mystery/action in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumped off of Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa, the world's tallest bungee (just about 216 meters or the equivalent of a 60 story building)

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has a story, never be too quick to dismiss or judge someone because you'll never know what they can teach you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Botswana, Cayman Islands, South Africa, Zambia

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
