About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving the teens of Seattle
ABOUT ME
I like to laugh above all else. I walk the line between genuinely funny and genuinely funny looking. I am a good communicator, and thoughtful.
PHILOSOPHY
Better living through better posture. Local, organic, fair-trade. Cultivating those crazy experiences I have just before I fall asleep. Seeker of awareness and humility.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In seattle, saying you participate in couchsurfing is like saying you huffed paint as a child. It's understood.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been a many time host through the Santa Barbara Student Housing Cooperative where I lived for some of the great years of my life. I've had excellent experiences surfing in many different countries. Rideshare: awesome. In general, good times.

Music, Movies, and Books
Directors / Films:
Cohen Brothers, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson (The majority of Bill Murray's filmography, in fact),
Before the Rain, Casablanca, Fear & Loathing, Donnie Darko, eXistenZ.
Authors / Books:
Asimov, Phillip K. Dick, The Call of the Wild, A Moveable Feast, Short stories of O'Henry, good science like The Selfish Gene, The Elegant Universe, Guns Germs and Steel. Just read "Don't Get Too Comfortable," and laughed myself silly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the words of a greater man than I, "You'll just have to wait for the book to come out."
Teach, Learn, Share
I may be able to teach something on pretty much anything requiring coordination. I am a serial hobbyist. Frisbee, juggling, unicycling, slack lining, kitesurfing, skiing, and so on. Games like Go, chess, and poker. Arrowhead making. Origami. Kombucha brewing. You name it. I like to teach; it's what I do.
