I'm a misguided freckled girl trying to find her way in the world. I'm originally from Colorado, but I've lived in DC since 2007. I've always worked for nonprofits and enjoy doing Communications/Graphic Design work on the side. I have a shameless addiction to hot sauces and love the outdoors.

For the interesting conversations and connections with others. It's always nice to have great stories and shared experiences. There's so much to learn!

So far I've couchsurfed in: Dublin, Ireland (with Stuart Morle); Istanbul, Turkey (with Biray Anil Birer and Rachel); and Beijing, China (with Xin Xin).

兴趣

My interests? Hmmm... asking the tough questions, I see. I really love art, in any form - photography, drawing, painting, cooking (yes - cooking, but mostly because it produces food at the end). Does cheese count as an interest? If so... definitely cheese. I'd love to say I'm an adamant runner, but... I don't want to lie to you. I run when I can. Is it an interest? Not really.

Oh so many... A few of my favorite MOVIES: Rachel Getting Married, The Godfather, Jurassic Park, and Requiem for a Dream

MUSIC: So hard to choose! I love most genres, but must admit I have trouble loving some country songs. Other than that, I have so much love for so much music. Some of my favorite artists have to be Sza, Amy Winehouse, Jorja Smith, Jack White, Dorothy, Jazmine Sullivan and Grace Potter.

BOOKS: My all-time favorite book is Alice in Wonderland. Some of my other old and recent favorites are House of Leaves, Something Happened and El Baile de la Victoria.

Going skydiving comes to mind. But FAR more amazing than that: I once ate an entire ice cream cone without spilling a single drop on my shirt. Pretty amazing.
