ABOUT ME

Hello..
I got to know about CS from my friend and I started my own experience with it. I love meeting new people and be a part of an awesome cultural exchange.

Life is a journey and it becomes worth living when you have lovely people to travel with, so.. hop on ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well as the Indian culture says "Our guest is like God", you can expect a healthy, chilled out and people friendly environment around here.. Its not just hosting, CS is much more than that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experience has just begun, and I have so much to look forward to already. The few CSr's that I have met were really good people and I have learnt so much in terms of culture, religion, morals etc etc.. so far so good, hoping for more awesomeness in future.

Interests

I am a peace lover, a traveler and music fan. Now and then I try to escape from my stressful and boring work life to party or travel or just have a quiet evening with myself. I am a liberal thinker, I respect all religions although I follow none myself. Food is my first love, art is second. I love to express my creative thoughts by means of sketches, some decorations for my house and sometimes even a poem or two..

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies, I really watch a lot of movies, anything and everything from drama, horror, sci-fi to documentaries etc.

I prefer soft music most of the times, something which is soothing to the ears is always on my playlist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There have been times when I have felt that this moment is truly awesome but I think I am gonna tell you about the time I went on this trek with my two friends (btw one is from Kolkata and the other from Kerela), this was a trek where people usually get lost or sometimes even die. And here i was on a steep 400 ft high mountain wall, which in the first place, I should not have climbed, looking at the sun set in the western ghats and making room for my feet as I had barely any place to stand..and I thought about how I should spend the night before the rescue helicopter comes for me in the morning next day. But in the end we did not give up hope and finally reached the peak after 25 km of tiring walk in a forest. It was later that we found out that this trek had been banned by the authorities because of increasing casualties.
