***We Will Be Traveling Till The 15th of August!***
Won't be able to host anyone for a while.

I JUST ACCEPT THOSE SURFERS WHO ACCEPT OTHER SURFERS.

Hi, this is Asefeh,
It is never easy for me to talk about myself, but it seems I should!
So, I am from Iran, was born in Tehran, and moved to Brussels 4 years ago.
I am happily married to the man I can travel to hell with!
I am so talkative but likewise, I enjoy listening to others. In one word, it can be said that I like good conversations, especially with new people.

.
By the way, I am here to be a host or a guest, so don't ask about my personal life or a date. Also, I hardly ever have time to hang out at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The short answer is: because we want to surf a couch and can be the host.
But the elaborated one is because we are truly interested in learning about countries and cultures which is not possible by staying at hotels that are all similar around the world, but by meeting inhabitants at their places.
CS is not only a social network to me but also a way to know the local culture and meet incredible people while traveling.
On the other hand, we want to help travelers by hosting and guiding them to enjoy their trip as much as possible.

Interests

My passion is reading, but I also enjoy outdoor activities: traveling, discovering cities, trying new things, going to the cinema and theatre, art galleries and museums, going to nature and taking some photos, walking for hours, and swimming (especially in the sea).
I enjoy listening to true stories from others, observing people's lives, and being part of them for a few days.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classic music, but I also enjoy folk ones from around the world. Lullabies also can be considered a type of music and I like them. But my favourite types are Iranian good ones because I can feel them word by word. Music movies are also reminders of a story, so I like some good ones.
Favourite Movies:
I like animations, any kind of it. Like Documentaries. Classic movies are my favourites, like Viridiana, Citizen Kane, Gone With The Wind, The Battleship Potemkin, A Streetcar Named Desire, Chaplin's movies and many others. I like musical movies like Marry Poppins and The Sounds of Music. I also liked some recent movies, Dogville, The Devil's Advocate, Last Tango In Paris, Schindler's List, Gloomy Sunday, etc.
Favourite Books:
Novels are my favourites: Lolita, Too Loud a Solitude, The Adventures of Pinocchio, The Kite Runner, In Search of Lost Time, Zorba The Greek, The Neverending Story, Madam Bovary, Wuthering Heights, The Last Temptation of Christ, Resurrection, Memories of My Melancholy Whores, The Myth of Sisyphus, Lust for Life, Of Love and Other Demons, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Gone With the Wind, A Farewell to Arms, The Land of Green Plums, Christ Recrucified, The Solitaire Mystery, Sophie's World, Pedro Páramo, The Stranger, The Little Prince, The Master and Margarita, Harry Potter series, War and Peace, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Love in the Time of Cholera, Anna Karenina. One Thousand And One Nights (Arabian Nights)
Some Plays: Classics, Samuel Beckett's, Lorca's, Shakespeare and many others.
I also like mythology, sociology, psychology and philosophy, and sometimes read about them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am still alive, in this sad world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach others some rudimentary Persian words or funny proverbs. Can share my experiences and stories, which can last for ages!
Or share an Iranian dish, though I am not a very good chef!
And It would be great if someone teach me how to be happy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always bring a piece of souvenir to people who host me. It is in my culture so I try to give them something special from my country. I also can share some other parts of my culture and custom with them.

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Malaysia, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Iran
