About Me

I'm a recent college graduate, and I studied the Social Sciences. I really loved being immersed in collegiate learning, but now I am ready for some travel, new faces, and unknowns. I've been playing the folk harp for a few years, and I love to sing. I love music...who doesn't? But I mean, I really, really love music. I value new experiences, especially meeting new people. I love storytelling. Tell me your story. I'm guaranteed to be enthralled. I'm 29 and a bit shy...until I'm unabashedly open.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to relocate to Colorado. I don't know that area very well, so I hope to meet some new people and get the feel of some Colorado towns. Denver here I come! I'm also excited to explore Couchsurfing, and to start hosting when I get settled in Colorado.

Interests

My interests change often! I guess you could say that I'm interested in The Day, and whatever it throws out, I try to catch and hold for awhile. My lasting disciplines have been music, knitting, storytelling, gardening, getting to know animals, and connections with people and places. I like to travel, but since I've been in school, I haven't done any traveling. When I was younger, I traveled all over the globe...I was an adventurous youth. I'm hoping to recast that net and draw in the real and dirty wisdom that only comes through travel and language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've rebirthed recently. That doesn't sound so amazing unless you've also experienced a metamorphosis.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you what I know on my harp, I can teach harmony, I can teach you how to knit, and if you knit, maybe how to knit stitches faster than others. I can talk about alternative medicine and various healing modalities. Also, I love to listen. Often I find people to be very trusting of me. I enjoy it when people tell me stories and confide in me because there are answers to unfold through talking. I'd love to learn just about anything you're into. Really. Learning is what it's all about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook well for you, I can clean for you, I can knit you something, I can bring you chocolate, I can smile at you. I can give you a massage or Qi Gong.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, Switzerland
