I recently learned the history of Calligraphy and find it both interesting and ironic. First things first, interesting: It came from the Muslims during the Islamic era. It was created to beautifully express the word of god. Ironic: Many racist people today have tattoos today written in calligraphy. I wonder if they know the meaning behind their prized possessions...
