About Me

I'm currently working towards opening my own restaurant in Colorado. Right now I sell wholesale products at trade shows to build capitol for my restaurant. I travel for business, but end up with a lot of free time as I often spend 2-3 weeks at a time in different places all over the country before heading home to Colorado. I am a family man, and I think my wife and kids are the best and most fun on the planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel all the time, and hotels are super boring. When I'm away from home I would like to meet new people and get the local perspective on events/food/activities. I spent two years as a volunteer missionary in New Jersey meeting thousands of different people, and often shared a meal in many homes. We often host a weekly dinner with a few foreign exchange students from our local college to meet new friends and just have fun. Couch Surfing expands that outlet and restores my faith and trust in humanity. If you are not traveling the world, I think couch surfing brings the world to you.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV: Dr. Who, Supernatural, The Black List, The Walking Dead, Dare Devil, and Game of Thrones are my top shows lately.

Music: I have more music than I think i can listen to in a lifetime, if you want to talk music, I probably own the album.

Books: I hate reading, so I listen to audio books when I drive long distances. Right now I have started listening to the Harry Potter books again.

I play pc minecraft when I have nothing else going on, super cool i know. . .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I developed the Mall of America location for NBC's America's Next Great Restaurant TV show. The show only lasted one season, but it set the stage for me to open my own restaurant.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the harmonica. I don't always have mine with me, but I can get you started.

I can teach you how to cut/slice food like a chef.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share some of my inventory with my hosts. I also like to cook when the timing is right, share great stories, and offer the inside scoop on Colorado. I'm a pro at making German pancakes and omelettes; not difficult, but delicious.
