If you were to read my blog this is what it says in the "about me" section

I am a 27 year old artist formally trained in printmaking and self taught in adventure.

My most recent escapades have involved exploring jungles, beaches, ruins,frozen lakes, forests, cities, and where the sidewalk ends.

I cohort with a gang of artists, thinkers, adventure seekers, and people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

It is what I like to refer to as “living the life fantastic.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have filled out my profile and made a donation and requested a postcard.

My former housemates used to have couchsurfers stay at our place and they have stayed on couches across Europe. So I have a bit of second hand experience. It is time for me to get in the game. I'd also like to open up my home to couchsurfers again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I floated 5 hours in a raft downriver from Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic, with an australian guy I had met in a hostel in Prague. We had an extra large raft because we had started with two other travelers who just wanted to go on a short ride through the city. On the way out of the town, maybe 20 minutes into the day, we approached a bridge with a banner on it with big red letters saying something in Czech. As we got closer we saw that there were ropes hanging from the bridge. about 20 meters away a loud nose went off and from the bridge a fountain of water started running from the side furthest from us. The ropes were hanging on the side closest us. We had a choice. Get totally soaked or climb the ropes. It was the most amazing prank ever. I felt like I was in the movie "The Goonies".

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about fine art printmaking. Screenprinting, Lithography, relief, intaglio, collagraph. I also know lots of fancy mixed media techniques. I like to get my hands dirty and make artwork that is as much to do with process as it is with content. I'd be very happy to share.
