About Me
Hey there! I'm an illustrator-in-training who loves to explore new places. I draw a lot of inspiration from the world around me to create fantasy worlds in my head. I currently live and study in Bristol.
When I was 18 I was keen to see the world so moved as far away from home as possible, to New Zealand where I lived and worked for a year. On my way there I spent a couple of months in Indonesia and stayed for a few weeks in Malaysia. During this experience I fell in love with the countries I visited, traveling in general, and met loads of amazing people with different life experiences.
Since then I've been to more amazing countries but haven't spent more than a month away at a time. When covid hit I'd planned a trip to South America that I had to cancel. As I was stuck in the UK I started studying art to pursue my dream of being an independent artist. I love spending time in nature, the feeling you get when you reach the top of a big hill, wild swimming & camping, cooking meals for friends and family, time with animals, live music, relaxing on a beach, flow arts(I’m learning poi at the moment), painting and other arty activities.
At the moment I’m travelling around Europe, I’ve spent the past month with my partner visiting Czech Republic, Albania, Slovenia and Italy. I’m about to start solo travelling around Albania and hopefully also Montenegro. I don’t really have a set plan but am keen to meet new local people and learn about the places I visit from them! I believe that you miss all the best stuff if you just do the tourist my things. Looking for like-minded queer friendly hosts to befriend. 🌞🌞
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on here to meet cool new people, I think that everyone has a good story to tell if you have the time to get to know each other.
Also to explore more of the world! I like traveling slowly, as that way you get to see interesting places that you might skip over when you're following a jam-packed itinerary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paragliding in NZ! I had an amazing time and felt what it must be like to be able to fly. I'd love to one day learn how to do it by myself and be able to hike up a mountain to then fly down it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Painting/drawing people/most things art-related. If you want me to teach you techniques or just have a chill arty day I'm always keen.
I can cook good veggie food, mango salads, stir-frys, and dahl are some of my go-to recipes. I do eat meat as well, but I grew up veggie so am not the best at cooking meat.
I'm currently trying to learn Spanish so any practice is much appreciated. We both speak english fluently also so if anyone wants to practice, we could help out!
I love animals, my mum's a professional dog walker and I help her out from time to time, I used to have a cat too. I also love goats, there’s a farm nearby my old house which I visited often to see them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m able to share all the skills mentioned above and would especially love to find other people interested in flow arts. Also here to share some good stories, good food and good company! Owhhh and if anyone wants to go on a hike or adventure in nature I’d love to share that experience.
