About Me
Hello friends! I am originally from the cold tundra of Minnesota and currently reside in Colorado. Snow feels like home to me. The human rush of adrenaline appeals to me greatly, and I am always up for an adventure that will give me this result. Recently I’ve learned to be more in touch with my true self and allowing myself to present to the world more authentically. I’m working on connecting more authentically with others by sharing my vulnerabilities and hearing those of others. I’m not too interested in surface level interactions anymore, not saying they don’t serve a purpose, but when I meet someone I would really like to connect as I believe there is always something to connect with someone on.. I believe that life is paradoxical in most every way and that everything we engage in should be done in moderation, including moderation itself ;) I also believe that we can learn from everyone and everything and that we should never close our minds off to any idea, but instead accept the limitless possibilities of life and of ourselves. Apart from that, I’m not sure what else I believe, but my perspective is always changing and growing. I look forward to meeting, exchanging information, and learning from whoever is reading this post!! :) With peace and love, Asha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and seeing how they experience their home town is a very special thing. It gives a unique perspective and by seeing the town through their eyes, you get to know that person on a deeper level very quickly. It’s all about human connection and learning about one another.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recent favorite musical groups include Khruangbin, STS9, and Lettuce. Some classics I will always come back to are Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Santana. Very into psychedelic jazz/rock/funk but will listen to absolutely anything. The book I am reading now is called “Soul Mates: Honoring the Mystery of Love and Relationships” by Thomas Moore. Recently watched the movie First Man. I usually appreciate all books/movies I read/watch
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completing my Master’s of Science in Toxicology, traveling for about a year straight, and climbing mountains :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to sit down with someone and learn about their past/present/future. Love to exchange perspectives and learn from one another. My favorite things to do with my time include being active and getting outdoors, whether it be in the mountains, sea, forest, whatever. Our earth is beautiful and I am passionate about protecting her! Love to ski/snowboard, hike, bike, camp, ANYTHING outside. Also do a lot of yoga, meditation, art for fun, and cooking :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook! Happy to get some groceries and make a fun meal :) recently following a vegan diet so I am happy to share insight into this as well.
