I have two college degrees and I make a living by opening beer bottles and shaking up yummy alcoholic concoctions.

I am originally from the Midwest, but now call Louisiana home.

I am a Capricorn- responsible, patient and loyal. I have been called a free bird, a hopeless wanderer and a restless soul.

PHILOSOPHY

I know who I am but I am constantly looking for ways to better myself. I love to try new things. I love to learn new things. And my bucket list consists of all the places I want to visit.

I haven't had the chance to host, but I've had an amazing experience meeting up and being hosted by fellow couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like an assortment of music from 50s country to 90s alternative, and many more in between. A few of my favorites are: Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Band of Horses, Bon Iver and Mumford and Sons.

For movies, I like fantasy, action and horror. My favorite TV series are Game of Thrones and Walking Dead. My favorite movies include: Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, Shooter, Lords of War, Harry Potter Series, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Avatar and the Resident Evil Series.

I read a lot. I like popular fiction and memoirs about hiking and travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited more than 35 US States.I've moved more than 20 times in the last 10 years. I've jumped out of a plane, walked with sharks, rafted class IV rapids, explored a glacier, ate a lot of weird stuff and been tattooed more times than I care to count. I've worked in politics, hospice care and the service industry.
