About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Become a traveling artisan

ABOUT ME

I'm an environmentalist/feminist/artist/transient. I love having fun and laughing. I try to live life to the fullest while caring for the environment and people's rights. I believe in animal rights and I´m a vegetarian. I love to travel, I've seen almost coast to coast of Canada and I traveled 13 countries and 25 cities in Western Europe in the spring of 2008. I'm in the middle of planning a trip to Mexico, Central America and South America this fall. My spare time (when I have some) goes to crafting and creating art. I'm open minded and love learning new things everyday, oh the joy of traveling. I love dancing and raves and music all together. I've had more than one person tell me I look like peter pan or other cartoon characters. I'm not much for planning, I think it makes life more interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to love, laugh, smile and experience everything in full.
I don't think you should run unless you are being chased.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Appreciating all those willing to offer their home and being as welcoming as I possible can to future guests of mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CouchSurfing experience has been more than what words can describe. I started couch surfing at the beginning of my Europe trip on Feb. 28 in 2008 and I was able to couch surf my whole 3 month trip all with the help of couch surfing and the amazing people involved with it. I have a tonne of amazing memories and several lasting friendships. I now look forward to hosting people so I can offer what I was given by so many.

Interests

Creating/appreciating art, travel, dancing, reading, spirituality, tattoos, environment, women's studies, human rights, animal rights, chillin' with pals, smokin' da gunja, mario cart, watching movies, relaxing, singing loud when no one's around, trying hard to startle people though it rarely works, belly buttons, little ears, blowing bubbles(so much I even got a tattoo of bubbles), taking my time, not caring about things that don't matter but caring a lot about the things that do, long talks and long walks, long boarding and bicycle riding, discovering new places, getting lost and then found, espresso with a bit of soy milk and a bit of brown sugar...mmmm, great food and cooking great food and trying to learn guitar. Overall just having fun and living life to the fullest and helping out wherever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is what makes the world go 'round. I dig all kinds of music. I've been listening to a lot of Neko Case and Radiohead lately but my favorites are ever changing.
Movies - Almost Famous, Amelie, Empire Records, Anchorman, Zoolander, Dazed and Confused, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Mall Rats, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Finding Nemo, Billy Madison, Office Space, Wayne's World, Grandma's Boy, Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Crazy Beautiful, Grind, anything by Kevin Smith - man that guy is a genius... well maybe not so much genius but hes very funny. Superbad, Knocked up, 40 year old Virgin, American History X, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Into the Wild.
Books - Earth Angels by Doreen Virtue, Good Faeries Bad Faeries by Brian Froud, Go Ask Alice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are amazing and beautiful things I see every day; people helping others, sunsets/sunrises, trees, mountains, friends, art, this could go on...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can crochet, knit, sew, paint, make jewelry, cook some deadly veggie meals, longboard all of which I could try to teach. I love to learn new things so if you wanna teach me I'm willing. I'm trying to learn guitar, yoga and would love to learn how to snowboard.
