Hi, I'm Ash!

I've decided to finally take the plunge and quit my job to pursue an adventure of travelling around the world! 🌎 I did the whole university study and work towards a stable career for many years but I've decided to take some time out and travel. I'm super excited to hit the road, meet amazing people and have fun adventures! ✈️🤗

I've previously backpacked around South America and South East Asia and I also lived in Kenya for a while during a volunteering programme. In-between I've been on a bunch of holidays all over the world and more recently I backpacked around Mexico last year to prepare me for solo travel which I loved and met some amazing people I've become really good friends with 😄. I've also had a bunch of businesses, the most interesting one was owning a garlic farm for a while, which always makes for fun story telling 😃🚜

From this backpacking adventure what I really want to experience is the different cultures, people, languages, ideas, foods, and just general ways of thinking and living, rather than only see the sights. So I'd really appreciate anyone kind enough to open their home and views to me 😊

I'm super friendly, very clean, very respectful, and happy to share many stories from a very busy life 😅 and share knowledge of my own culture too, or be super quiet 😊
