Overview
About Me
correspondent. born in Shanghai, living in Moscow
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is an excellent way of sharing experiences, meeting new minds, and exploring this big beautiful world.
Interests
Being yogi and traveller teaches me to lead a life of minimum impact.
Having spent substantial time with the Tibetan nomads, I appreciate human bonds and love creating a sense of belonging for those with whom our paths cross - exactly the way how I have been treated there.
Music, Movies, and Books
What intrigues me in these different forms of arts is the cultural spirit associated with a particular place/region, rather than the particular genre...
A recent good book: The train to Pakistan by Kushwant Singh
movies: Dersu Uzala, Ivan's Childhood, Underground (by Kusturica)..
music: Chopin, Rachmaninoff...
food: mostly vegetarian dishes, Indian ones. Culinary arts have no boundaries. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just breathe!
Teach, Learn, Share
"Doubt - doubt all the possibilities you have. Doubt what you are doing now."
- Best advice I've received.
