Exploring the Silk Road (and more!) - from China and Central Asia to the Mediterranean Sea!

I was born and raised in the USA. I am a friendly, outgoing guy that loves to meet people, live life, and experience everything new. I caught the travel bug in college when, on a whim, applied for a study abroad opportunity to Guadalajara, Mexico. I followed that up with 7 years in Japan, 2 years in Mongolia, 1 more in Canada, that redefined me and the way I view the world.

I'm still infected by the travel bug, and I strive to evolve while maintaining my traveling impulses.

Hiked part of the Appaliachian Trail! 110 miles (177 km) from the Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania through New Jersey to Bear Mountain, New York!

Cycled the compete 88 Temple Pilgrimage in Shikoku, Japan + Mount Koya - 2000+ km!

Cycled from Shanghai to Harbin, China - 2000+ km!

Hitchhiked from Frankfurt, Germany to St Petersburg, Russia!
