About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover the world and myself! To learn, to live, to love, to laugh
ABOUT ME
24 year old intergalactic pixie
PHILOSOPHY
"Get a passport. Use it as often as possible. Read. Books, that is. Ones without pictures. Surround yourself with brilliant and fascinating people. Say yes whenever you can, except to religion and authority. Create things. Fall in and out of love. never forget that you will die one day." - Dear Coquette
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience countries and cultures through the eyes of locals, share stories and skills with fellow travelers in a homely environment rather than at a hostel - where the focus tends to be more on partying than having adventures and a community experience
Interests
I love to play ukulele, sing, paint, draw, dance, explore, cook, eat, drink, talk, read, roll in the dirt, splash in puddles, and swing around lamp posts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a last minute trip to America to go to Burning Man. I was offered a ticket 2 and a half weeks before the festival and didn't even have a passport. I had never even left my state, let alone the country, before.
I went with a friend who didn't have a ticket to the burn, and when we got to Nevada we had to wait on the side of the road until someone with a spare ticket crossed our paths.
We only waited for a few hours before we found our ticket angel, and we drove through the gates of the burn as the sun came up.
After the festival, we got on the wrong highway and ended up in strange little country town where we sang karaoke in a pub and danced with the locals. We unknowingly went to Haight-Ashbury on the day of a street festival and got to see Erykah Badu perform. We ran out of money for food and petrol, and busked our way from San Fran to San Diego. One night a bat flew into our car and hung out on the passenger seat.
