[m/31/digital dev*] I'm upbeat, love a good laugh and chat, and sometimes a bit of a boogie. I aspire to being a decent, creative, balanced and curious human being, and I value good relationships. I'm moving from Australia to UK on a working VISA (tier 5).

When asked to describe me - housemate replied:
"Generous...with red wine".

I'm creative and entrepreneurial - I work hard (web technologies), but I also allow time for whatever my hobbies happen to be at the time (currently cooking, swimming and reading). I have the occasional big weekend (I'm up for anything but generally beers at a pub/indie club).

I love music (current phase is indie, & electro), I like to read, and I'm interested in art & history. I guess I'm a bit of a news junkie - and like to pick apart current events (though I have very few positions I'd ever bother arguing about).

And of course, one of my interests is travel :)

I'm curious to see the world, meet its people (and eat their food). Having lived in Australia and never been to Europe, I'm also "mad keen" to see some of the stuff I have been reading about all my life (e.g. be face-to-face with the Sphinx and so on).

And probably the last thing worth mentioning is I'm going to challenge myself to learn Spanish for the next 3 months.

Things that have left me awestruck:

When I look at a clear night sky and try to marry what I'm seeing, with what I know about the cosmos, I very quickly bump up against the limits of my comprehension. Pretty much instant "mind blown" situation right there.

Also, when Vinnie slept with Snooki. Totes cray.

EDIT: A new one: descending into Heathrow, watching all the planes zip left and right over the cloud bank, and then finally peering under the clouds to see the green fields, villages, causeways and castles of england.
