I often need a reminder that love is not a victory march.

I cry at the end of most every book I read, even if it isn't sad.

I over identify with Elliott from Scrubs, and if you don't think Sarah Silverman is funny you definitely won't like me.

Once, my friend Hobbes described me as the moon, and I think I fit its three phases well.

I am afraid of ruts.

I check out stacks of books at the library, and usually only open a few of them before they are due.

I think I have heavy boots, but I'm not quite sure. Not being sure makes them heavier.

Finding out that "every snowflake is unique" is not true would profoundly change my existence.

I had a lucid dream for the first time ever a few weeks ago. Someone told me I couldn't do something, and I retorted, "Fuck you! I'm dreaming, I can do anything!" And then I flapped my arms and flew away. It was magnificent.

Procrastinating, for me, involves cleaning my apartment and cooking large dinners for groups of hungry guys. They love me.

I speak French to my cat when I think no one can hear me.

I feel prepared for the coming zombie apocalypse. I think I can use a machete fairly well.

I have an unqualified, irrational fear of murder.

I have an even more unqualified, irrational, bigger fear of murder by a serial killer. I think I am afraid of death.

I am not too proud to congratulate myself on a superbly written "About me". This one is a gem.

PHILOSOPHY

A good chicken pot pie can change the world.
