About Me

I want to travel the world before the world gets to be too small! I look for the genuine experiences, seeing what the locals see, and amazing food. I'm in the process of planning my first backpacking trip across Europe for this summer! I'm a very sarcastic person, so don't take anything I say seriously. If you're not sure if I'm joking or not, I usually am. I also really like cheese. If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get to know the locals, firsthand, and learn from them the ins and outs of their homes. I'm traveling abroad this summer and look forward to making new friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does it have to be limited to one?

1). I've been caught in a flash flood in the middle of a Belizean rainforest, and found my way back down the mountain, even though the paths were washed away.
2). I spent my Christmas vacation in Hawaii. While I was there, I went to a local drum ceremony on a secluded beach. Between the drums, the free people, and the humpback whales breaching in the sunset, it was an almost religious experience.

I'm sure there's more to speak of, but what's amazing to others may not be considered amazing to myself. Perspective, my friend.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I make some killer chicken alfredo. I'm also pretty good with computers...I mean, it is my major, after all. Oh! And I can decorate cakes.

Learn: I like learning how to cook new things. I'm also usually pretty open to learn new experiences, in general.

Share: I'm funny. I'll share my sheer wit and personality with you. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm funny! And I'm not a typical American. I truly seek to learn and experience the atmosphere of foreign countries, not force what I know upon others.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, England, France, Nicaragua, Scotland
