Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing to support the couch surfing travelers community. To learn about different cultures, their food, clothes, traditions, music as much as I can. To get inspired by other travelers who've travelled so much. To hear their travel stories.
Interests
These days hitchhiking across Africa.
I was a TEFL instructor living in the Himalayas. I taught English as a foreign language to adults before I started to travel full-time. Now 1year on the road already.Although I have a masters in clinical psychology , I decided not to persue it and shifted career.
I play couple of instruments like guitar, ukulele and beginners keyboard but I am more of a vocalist and I like to sing mantras, latin music, medicinal music and songs from the 90’s .
I love nature and I seek so much healing from it. I love hiking. I've hiked the Himalayas for years. In love with the mountains.I love to hug trees and walk bare foot in the forests. I love long forest walks. I like to challenge my human body in nature. I love to dance. I call it active meditation.
I walk a lot. I've managed to walk 35 kms in a day in 7 hours and I keep testing my ability to walk, it's such a powerful practice. I am a budget traveler
I've been learning about meditation from Buddhist monks of himalayas and I understand that mind is so powerful tool of human experience
