About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Developing creative pursuits, finding happiness in new things, and strengthening the wonderful relationships I have already.

ABOUT ME

I'm new to both couchsurfing and traveling, but I've just started my first major trip, traveling through southeast asia and eventually through taiwan and japan. I enjoy creative pursuits, and spend much of my time photo-ing, video-ing, and writing. I enjoy talking and meeting new people of all types.

PHILOSOPHY

My current mantra is "don't force it." I've spent a lot of my time trying to schedule and dictate my life, and these days I'm finding value in leaving things open and experiencing things beyond what I might've planned for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just started, but I'm headed to my first meetup tonight. I recently moved out of my apartment in new york, but I'm looking forward to hosting people once I get a new one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I uploaded a photo, and I've filled out about half of this profile so far.

Interests

seeing new things, meeting folks and learning about different cultures.

  • writing
  • wine

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently reading a collection of david foster wallace essays now, as well as stephen king's dark tower series. I am more into television series these days than films, including Mad Men, House of Cards, but I loved Django Unchained.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Floating down the dordogne in france, with a bunch of friends and a bunch of wine, in kayaks that we tied together with available ropes and jackets and the like.
