About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn as much as I can about different cultures, religions, and celebrations. To meet people from all of the world and share stories and grow as an individual and as a whole.

ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old, born and raised in Canada. In 2008 I did the Camino de Santiago across Spain, in 2012 I worked in Germany as an Au Pair and at a large animal vet clinic, and in 2015 I worked in the Netherlands for Anky Van Grunsven at the Anky Education Center. Last year I lived and worked in Belgium. I can't wait to see more of the world!!
Things I can enjoy while I'm home: baking (I worked as a professional baker for over a year, it's something I really love), hiking, camping, exploring, rock climbing, reading, road trips, ice skating, anything to do with animals. I also enjoy eating and meeting new people!
I am currently in school for Environmental Science, with a concentration in Geography and GIS. I would love to work with wildlife once I have my degree - I really love the wilderness and want to dedicate my life to helping the earth stay wild.

In the summers I lead outback trips on horseback in the Canadian Rockies, it's awesome and definitely something that makes me feel alive. I LOVE being out in the wilderness on a horse.

I married my high school sweet heart in January 2017, we've been together for nearly eight years now and he's the love of my life and my adventure partner. His name's Kevin, sometimes we surf together! He's a 25 year old welder/cabinet marker who does custom wood and metal design and art. He's working towards becoming an architect.

PHILOSOPHY

“So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.”
― Mitch Albom
