I am a relaxed, funny and outgoing person that really loves to travel and getting to know new cultures and languages!
I'm from a small town in Norway called Vestnes. There isn't a lot to do there, but the nature is amazing so I often go hiking or skiing.
I spent the last year traveling through Australia, New Zealand, southeast-Asia and America. Now I live and study development in Oslo!

My name, by the way, is pronounced "osil" , but people call me "ash"

To make new acquaintances around the world. I'm pretty new to couchsurfing, but I'm really looking forward to exploring it and meeting new people! I love trying new things and challenging myself.

Interests

FOOD! I'm a vegetarian, but apart from meat and fish I eat almost anything, and I love trying new foods.
I also go to a lot of concerts and festivals, and I love discovering new bands and songs.
I also enjoy hiking, skiing, partying or to go out for a beer or a glass of wine with friends, and I'm always up for discussing politics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of Norwegian bands, but I also love Coldplay, The Kooks, The Wombats, Kings of Leon etc. The genre doesn't really matter, as long as the music is nice.
I love watching any kind of movie really, except maybe horror movies or movies with really bad stories.
I really like reading, but I don't always have time for it! My favourite books are 1984 and Stranger In A Strange Land.
