Overview
About Me
I have been living in Singapore for the past 10 years; I now call it home. Singapore is exceptionally clean and welcoming, which is immediately evident as soon as you land here. I received my PhD from NTU in 2018. Since then, I've been building my company, so it's been 6 years now. The journey from pursuing my PhD to entrepreneurship has been a roller coaster ride, filled with continuous learning. I am very eager to share my experiences and also learn from others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've noticed that my educational background and role as a startup founder have limited my social circle a bit. As the CTO, it's even more restricted. My friends introduced me to couch-surfing, and I've had a blast hosting a few folks. I'm eager to meet more people, swap stories, and learn from their experiences. This, to me, is priceless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, I embarked on a 10-day meditation retreat in Bali. Throughout this time, all forms of communication—whether with humans or electronics—were strictly prohibited. We were even instructed to avoid eye contact. This meant no emails, messaging devices, or the like. It was a true digital detox. I devoted 12-14 hours daily to meditation. Post-retreat, I can genuinely see a transformation in myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking and particularly like people trying my dishes and give honest feedback so that I can modify. Plus, I can share insights on startups and navigating their challenging phases.
My recent love has been making cocktail and I am taking all the opportunities in parties to show my new found skill :P
