Well lets see, I am fun loving and have a point of view on many things but not everything. I love music almost all genres, but american country music is my favorite. However, I have been into it since I got access to this vast genre through itunes- mix of newbies like Cole Swindell, Brett Elderidge, stalwarts like Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, FGL, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Sarah Darling, Lady Antabellum, etc. Then of course, Alan Jackson, Waylon Jennings, etc. I enjoy most movies and current favorites are Bridge of Spies (am listening to its OST while typing) so it will change later, and many more. I love food particularly mexican, italian, mediterranean and chinese.
I thrive on coffee and a croissant means I am in french heaven. I like reading but have more books than I can keep up with. I promise myself not to purchase my next favorite till i finish what I have but that works a few times till I finally say "ditch it, I am getting it". I am not a sports fan but I dont mind developing an interest here, particularly like formula 1, baseball, not sure how that will go though. I am keen to try para sailing and hang gliding some time in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am keen to meet people, share moments of joy, light hearted banter, introspection and their perspective on the world. Its a borderless world in a way as we can now find people across the world. I dont have my own place now so I cant really host people, but once I get my own pad that should change.

Since I stay in a disjoint joint family (lol) I really cannot host people but will do that once I have my own space. I love to treat guests well and make them feel special which I cannot do in my current place hence (sad face) I cant really call people over.

Interests

I have a curious mind and want to purchase and read almost every book I find a connection with. So that means I do have more books in my shelf and kindle than I can read. I guess I would need to take a long sabbatical to finish the books I already have. Plus my reading is slow and I am yet to get over the fact that one does not need to read a book cover to cover but understand it. So if you have techniques to share about how I can speed read and remember key points of interest I am up for that. I do watch you tube videos to do that too but a fresh perspective is always welcome. I love trying exotic vegetarian food and take up the challenge of converting great non vegetarian options to suit my diet. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against meat eaters and am fine by it. So, whether you are a peskatarian or any other lable I am ok with that. (smiling face) I love movies but can forget why I liked them if it was a long time ago as there are so many new movies to watch. I am most fascinated by hotels the more premium the better but sadly dont get to enjoy them as much. I love finding great boutique hotels at a bargain though and find it fun.

Let's see, I love books by Mitch Album and the last one I read was about the magic strings of Franki Presto. Then I love my tintin collection, harry potters, Baldacci, Dan Brown (few books I dislike- Deception point being a huge no no). My favorite movies I am stumped as there are so many and it keeps changing, but then it has to be LOTR series, the fundamentals of caring, ted, bourne series, hangover series, breakfast at tiffanys, etc. I love Taylor Swift music, then there is Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Brett Elderedge, Adele, Lorde, London Grammer, Kygo, Ed Sheeran, and many more
